Establishing a Good Contact Lens Fit at Stillwater Vision Clinic

We specialize in contact lenses including custom designs for hard to fit conditions such as astigmatism, bifocals and keratoconus.

It starts with a thorough eye exam to ensure the most up-to-date prescription and rule out any pre-existing conditions that could interfere with contact lens wear.

Fitting lenses to your lifestyle
We will determine the best fitting lens based on your lifestyle needs and the shape and health of your eyes. In most cases, you’ll have the opportunity to try lenses on the same day as your exam. You may even go home with a few samples before making a final decision.

Follow up fittings
Our Stillwater team will follow up after the initial fitting and then make any necessary changes in fit or materials to get you the best possible result. We teach all our patients proper contact lens care and also possible consequences if proper care is not taken. Then we continue with long-term follow-up to monitor the condition of the lenses and to ensure that proper hygiene is being maintained.

Are you a first time contact lens wearer? Not sure whether contact lenses are right for you?

Then try our No Risk Contact Lens Care and Wear Program. Try contact lenses in our office before you buy them. Lenses are inserted and removed by the Contact Lens Technician on the day of the exam.*

If you decide to keep them, we will teach you how to properly care for them and wear your new lenses to maximize vision and minimize potential risks.

* Fee for doctors services are not included in the program. The fee for contact lens fitting/evaluation will be determined by the doctor day of exam.

A yearly contact lens evaluation is provided for previous contact lens wears. We evaluate your continuing corneal health and current contact lenses, as well as making any adjustments necessary to your contact lens prescription and/or brand.
